Las Vegas is among the top fastest-growing city in the U.S., surrounded by some of the finest master planned communities where families of all sizes, ages, and incomes are at home. Below are descriptions of the major master planned communities in Las Vegas, North Las Vegas and Henderson.

 



Aliante

Aliante is a new master-planned community in the city of North Las Vegas.  In addition to the 1,165 acres of residential development, commercial development of 100 acres will provide shopping, dining and entertainment venues within the community. The Aliante Station Casino expects to break ground by late 2006 or early 2007, with the casino to open by midyear 2008.

Neighborhood conveniences include an 18-hole, 6,900-yard, par-72 championship municipal golf course , designed by the award winning golf course architectural firm of Gary Panks Associates, of Scottsdale, Arizona.

A man-made lake with waterfalls, in a scenic setting, creates the initial experience. A world of discovery awaits kids in the interactive dinosaur discovery area and the water play area. More than 24 miles of lighted concrete trails and linear parks. An outdoor stage and ramada, soccer fields, tennis courts and a volleyball stadium complete the park amenities.  Major retails shops such as Best Buy, Circuit City, Super Wal-Mart are currently being constructed.

Providence

Providence is a new upcoming 1,200 acres master-planned community in the ever popular northwest side of the Las Vegas valley.

This family-oriented community is located near the I-215 Beltway and Haulapai Way. Providence will feature 36 unique neighborhoods of new homes and condominiums. There will be approximately 7500 residences. Providence will feature tree lined boulevards with 10 miles of trails systems. The developer has set aside 33 acres for parks. The community will feature roughly 4,000 trees in all.

The Providence is close to the Floyd Lamb State Park, Mount Charleston and the Lee Canyon Ski Resort, the Centennial Hills Hospital which is scheduled to be completed on 2007 and the future Great Mall of Las Vegas.

Builders participating in Providence include Astoria Homes, Avante Homes, Beazer Homes, Fairview Residential, KB Homes, Kimball Hill Homes, Lennar Homes, Meritage Homes, Pardee Homes, Pulte Homes, R/S Development, Richmond American Homes, Ryland Homes, Toll Brothers, Warmington Homes Nevada and Woodside Homes.

KB Homes, Toll Brothers, Meritage Homes and Pardee Homes are scheduled to open for sales late summer 2006.

Silverstone Ranch is Pulte Homes' master planned golf course community located in the ever-growing Northwest area of Las Vegas. Summerlin is a 23,400 acre planned community built by The Howard Hughes Corporation. Construction began in 1990.

Summerlin consists of several major "villages" run by master associations. Each village is made up of several developments, some gated and some are not. Some communities have their own homeowner associations such as the age-restricted communities of Sun City and Siena.
